These are awesome. If only my dog would be so cute while I practice yoga at home…

Perfect Day in Seattle.
Sometimes being a tourist in your own city is pretty fun, and with some friends in town recently, we got to do just that! With one day in Seattle, here’s what we did…
- Morning stop at Kerry Park to enjoy the view and snap some pics
- Pikes Place Market for all it’s goodies and lunch
- Late afternoon canoeing in Lake Washington
- Pre-dinner snack at Paseos
- Dinner at the top of the Space Needle**
**After my first visit, I developed an aversion to eating at the “revolving restaurant” because 1) it’s overpriced and 2) the food is marginal. But now I’m glad I went again! Definitely go during sunset because seeing the skyline change from day to night is well worth the overpriced salad.
Obviously, there’s a million other things to do…but this itinerary was pretty productive if you ask me!
If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking.

Enjoying spring in the neighborhood with this fellow :)
A seemingly simple task, is not so simple. Do people dream of honeymoons when they’re kids like they do of weddings? If so, I missed that memo. We cannot seem to figure out a place to “honeymoon” that’s
a) Affordable
b) Easily accessible from Hawaii (this is the HARDEST)
c) Warm and sunny (also hard, because everything south of the equator will be winter in August)
d) Somewhere we’ve never been
A first world problem I know, but between the two of us those four points are daunting. Any suggestions from the peanut gallery?
Recent eats around Seattle.
Miyabi 45th - The most delicious soba I’ve had in Seattle.
Honore Bakery - Yummy macarons and kouign amann (not pictured)
Newly opened Ballard Annex - Nice space and good oyster hh. I recommend the whitefish spread and I’m coming back just for those bloody marys because I’m a sucker for blue cheese-stuffed olives.
